Here are a couple documents presenting horses for sale. All of the documents include the horse's name, age, color, weight, and price. Often times, the weight and the age of the horse contributed to their overall worth or price. For example, a horse between five and eight years old was deemed more valuable than a three year old or a twelve year old horse. Additionally, the heavier the horses were, the better. Weight translated directly into pulling power.
